LLUMINEAR was founded by
a girl with a big dream
I'm Sarah and I'm obsessed with jewellery. I Iive in Cornwall with my husband and little boy and work from my garden studio of dreams. It's my happy place and still pinch myself that my job is to to create pretty treasures for you to wear.
ever since i was little
i loved earrings!
...and was excited to get my ears pierced at the age of 13, so I could wear all the pretty. However I soon discovered that I had sensitive ears and could only wear real gold or silver. As a teenager this was of course devastating! The only options were really boring and bland as all the fun ones were made with cheap metals that irritated my ears; I know you know what I mean.
Fast forward a fair few years and I was still struggling to find fun earrings that I could wear, so I had this crazy idea of making my own. This idea, this niggle, this dream, I just couldn't shift it.
I was just obsessed with earrings and it was this passion that pushed me to be brave, to dream a little bigger and to take that scary step and share my earring creations with the world. I started wearing them out and about and showed them to my friends who went a bit mad over them and wanted some too and so LLUMINEAR was born.
Since then I've added more jewellery to my range. Pendants and rings sprinkled with Cornish beach sand so you can carry the oceanic magic with you. A physical reminder of the power you hold within that you can call upon throughout your day when you need it.
